Job Description

The  Materials  Manager will provide timely and accurate management information to the VP of Operations. The position will also be responsible for effectively communicating with all business units to assure production and project goals are achieved. Our client is looking for someone who can use their resources and work independently when given assignments. This is a critical hands on position and the right candidate must  manage the flow of materials throughout the operation by coordinating the efforts of purchasing, production control and the shipping department.

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree

8 + years of purchasing experience in the manufacturing industry

Domestic and international purchasing

Supervisory experience

Decision making skills

Travel 20%
